Dr. Mohit Sharma

Dr. Mohit Sharma is a highly experienced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 28 years of clinical expertise in managing complex reconstructive and aesthetic cases. Currently associated with Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, he has also served as a Professor at Amrita Hospital. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, followed by an MCh in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Safdarjung Hospital. Further enhancing his expertise, fellowships in Hand Surgery and Burns were pursued at St. Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery, UK, providing international exposure to advanced reconstructive techniques.

Dr. Sharma specializes in microvascular and reconstructive surgery, offering treatment for a wide range of conditions including hand injuries, congenital deformities, facial paralysis, cleft lip and palate, and complex head and neck defects. He is also known for his expertise in burns management, lymphedema surgery, diabetic foot reconstruction, and genital reconstruction. With a strong focus on innovation, he has been a key contributor to India’s first Vascularised Composite Allotransplantation (VCA) program since 2015. His patient-centric approach ensures functional and aesthetic restoration through advanced surgical care, along with continuous involvement in research and surgical education.
