Dr. Megha Consul

Dr. Megha Consul is a highly experienced Senior Consultant and Unit Head in the Department of Neonatology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. With over 19 years of post-MD experience, she has been instrumental in managing complex neonatal cases and leading high-level neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). Prior to joining Fortis, she served as the Principal Consultant and NICU in-charge at Max Superspeciality Hospital, Gurgaon. Her early medical journey includes an MBBS and MD in Paediatrics from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, followed by senior residency at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr. Megha further advanced her expertise by pursuing a Clinical Fellowship in Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine at Western University, Canada. There, she trained under renowned international faculty and gained hands-on experience in cutting-edge neonatal care. Her core areas of interest include high-risk newborn management, neonatal resuscitation, developmental care of preterm infants, and advanced neonatal ventilation techniques. She is deeply involved in improving neonatal outcomes through evidence-based care and parent education.

Actively contributing to both clinical practice and academic platforms, Dr. Megha is a member of prestigious organizations like the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and the National Neonatology Forum (NNF). She regularly participates in national and international neonatal conferences as a speaker and trainer. Her compassionate approach, international training, and leadership in NICU management make her a trusted name in neonatal care. She continues to work towards enhancing neonatal health services and ensuring the survival and well-being of the most vulnerable newborns.
