Dr. Madhu Roy

Dr. Madhu Roy is a senior gynecologist and obstetrician with more than 42 years of experience in women’s healthcare. She is currently practicing at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. After completing her MBBS in 1982, she pursued an MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the University of Allahabad, graduating in 1986.

To expand her clinical expertise, she gained international exposure by working for three years in the UK. During this time, she served at renowned institutions such as Warrington District Hospital, Whiston Hospital, and Mill Road Maternity Hospital. Since 1995, she has been associated with Apollo Hospitals as a Senior Consultant.

Her medical interests are diverse, ranging from abortion and MTP to gynecological endoscopy, fertility-preserving surgeries, and the management of high-risk pregnancies. She is particularly respected for her ability to handle complex obstetric and gynecological cases with both precision and compassion.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Roy holds memberships in several esteemed organizations, including AOGD, IMS, FOGSI, NARCHI, and the Minimal Access Surgery group. Notably, she ranked 6th in her MBBS final exam and earned her MRCOG in 1992. Her MD thesis on pregnancy with heart disease reflects her academic commitment to critical women’s health issues.
