Dr. M A Mir

Dr. M.A. Mir is a highly experienced gastroenterologist and endoscopist with over 17 years of expertise in diagnosing and treating liver and digestive diseases. Currently serving as the Head of Gastroenterology – Liver & Digestive Diseases (Unit III) at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, he has previously held prominent positions such as Director & Head of Department (HOD) at Rockland Hospitals, Delhi-NCR, and Consultant Gastroenterologist at Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute for Liver and Digestive Diseases, New Delhi.

Trained at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar, Dr. Mir has developed a strong proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. His expertise includes the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver cirrhosis, and various forms of hepatitis. He has successfully performed thousands of complex endoscopic procedures, including Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP), esophageal and enteral stenting, liver biopsies, and polypectomies.

Dr. Mir is also an avid researcher, having published 13 papers on liver diseases and acid peptic disorders. His dedication to medical excellence has earned him an MD with Honors and a Fellowship from the American College of Gastroenterology.
