Dr. Lekh Ram Sharma is a highly experienced Internal Medicine specialist with over 38 years of distinguished service in both military and civilian healthcare. Currently serving as Senior Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, he brings exceptional expertise from his decorated career in the Armed Forces Medical Services, where he rose to the rank of Major General. Dr. Sharma’s qualifications include MBBS and MD in Medicine, complemented by specialized training at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. His vast clinical experience spans infectious diseases (dengue, malaria, TB), metabolic disorders (diabetes, thyroid conditions), cardiovascular diseases, and neurological conditions. Notably, he served in a United Nations mission in Somalia and held key leadership positions including Additional Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services.
