Dr. Lakshmi Kant Tripathi

Dr. Lakshmi Kant Tripathi is a distinguished nephrologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating kidney-related diseases, critical care nephrology, and renal transplants. With a remarkable academic record, he has contributed significantly to nephrology advancements in India and abroad. Over the years, he has supervised more than 53,000 dialysis sessions, demonstrating his expertise in managing acute and chronic kidney diseases, dialysis complications, and transplant immunology. His dedication to patient care extends beyond treatment, as he emphasizes preventive nephrology to curb the rising incidence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in India.

Dr. Tripathi played a pivotal role in establishing state-of-the-art nephrology departments in Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Maldives, and across six medical centers in Delhi-NCR. His expertise includes handling resistant hypertension, complex nephrotic syndromes, and high-risk kidney transplants, including ABO-incompatible cases. Dr. Tripathi is also actively involved in medical research and has published numerous papers in reputed journals. His continuous contributions to nephrology have earned him prestigious fellowships from the Indian Society of Nephrology (FISN) and the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (FISOT). Currently, he serves as the Unit Head and Faculty for DNB Studies at Artemis Hospital, training the next generation of nephrologists.
