Dr. Kaushal Madan

Dr. Kaushal Madan is a highly accomplished hepatologist with over 24 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman & Head of Clinical Hepatology at Max Hospital, Saket. His medical journey began with an MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University of Delhi. Subsequently, he earned his MD in Internal Medicine from MAMC. He then pursued his DM in Gastroenterology from AIIMS. A DNB in Internal Medicine from the National Board of Examinations also adds to his impressive credentials. A Japanese Society of Gastroenterology Research Fellowship was completed at Kinki University School of Medicine, Osaka, Japan, in 2005. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Madan specializes in Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, NAFLD, Cirrhosis, and Liver Cancer. More than 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals are credited to his name. He has previously worked as Director at Artemis Centre of Excellence Digestive and Liver Diseases. Associate Director at Medanta – The Medicity was another role held by him. Furthermore, he served as Assistant Professor (Hepatology) at ILBS and Senior Research Officer at AIIMS. He is a member of AASLD, ISG, LTSI, and ISOT.
