Dr. Kanika Batra Modi

Dr. Kanika Batra Modi is a highly skilled Gynaecologic Oncologist with over 20 years of extensive experience in the field. She currently serves as the Director & Clinical Lead of Gynae Oncology at Max Hospital, Saket. Her medical journey began with an MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College. She then completed her DNB-MS from Safdarjung Hospital & VMMC. Subsequently, she pursued a Fellowship in Gynaecology Oncology from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre. Prestigious international fellowships including IGCS from Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney, and ESGO from KEM Hospital, Germany, have also been completed by her. Furthermore, she is a Fellow of IARC and IFCPC, WHO. Therefore, her training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Modi specializes in comprehensive management of cervical, endometrial, ovarian, vulval, and vaginal cancers. Robotic and minimally invasive surgery for gynaecologic malignancies are performed by her. Cytoreductive surgery for advanced ovarian cancer, including HIPEC and PIPAC, is also part of her expertise. Moreover, she is a proctor for robotic surgery with Intuitive India and has trained over 30 surgeons across India. The Sushruta Award in 2023 and Womennovators Award in 2024 are among her achievements. She has also been elected as Executive Council Member of AOGD and AOGIN India.
