Dr. Kamran Ali

Dr. Kamran Ali is a highly skilled thoracic surgeon with over 13 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the Associate Director of Thoracic Surgery at Max Hospital, Saket. His medical journey began with an MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. He then earned his DNB in Surgery from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. Subsequently, he completed a Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at Medanta the Medicity, Gurgaon. An ASCVTS Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at Seoul National University, South Korea, was also pursued by him. Furthermore, he completed a Fellowship in Lung Transplant at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Ali has worked at prestigious institutions including Marengo Asia Hospitals, Yashoda Hospitals, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and Fortis Hospital. Europe’s 1st and World’s 2nd Lung Transplant for COVID-19 ARDS was performed by the surgical team he was part of. Moreover, he has received numerous awards including the ASCVTS Fellowship award and the Hyundai Motor Company Travel Grant. The Best VATS Lab table award at ATEP 8th workshop in South Korea was also won by him. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of ESTS, ASCVTS, and IACTS. The Ravi K Jerath Award for Best Resident Trainee has also been received by him. Consequently, he is a globally recognized and trusted name in thoracic surgery and lung transplantation.
