Dr. Jyoti Sehgal

Dr. Jyoti Sehgal is Director of Neurology at Medanta, Gurugram. She is a highly experienced neurologist with expertise in stroke care, epilepsy, headache disorders, and neuro-rehabilitation. Moreover, she is known for combining advanced medical technology with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. She completed her MBBS, followed by MD in General Medicine from Nagpur University. Later, she earned her DNB in Neurology from the National Board of Examinations. In addition, she has been actively involved in advanced neurological care and stroke program development at Medanta.

Dr. Sehgal specializes in stroke management, stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, dementia, neuropathies, spinal disorders, and post-traumatic neurological conditions. Furthermore, she also manages complex cases involving speech disturbances, visual complaints, and neuromuscular disorders. She played a pioneering role in initiating the Stroke Code Activation program at Medanta in 2010. Therefore, she has been instrumental in building a structured, team-based approach for acute stroke care. She also successfully runs the Stroke Nurses Training Program to improve emergency neurological response.
