Dr. J.M.Dua

Dr. J M Dua is a distinguished Internal Medicine Physician with over 51 years of clinical experience, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, since 1996. He has played a pivotal role in managing a wide range of chronic and acute medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, respiratory infections, and cardiac arrhythmias. Prior to joining Apollo, Dr. Dua was a Senior Consultant at Netural Heart Institute, and earlier served as Senior Registrar in Cardiology at GB Pant Hospital and Maulana Azad Medical College. His international exposure at Texas Heart Institute, Boston, between 1983 and 1992, enriched his expertise in advanced cardiac care.

Dr. Dua holds an MBBS and an MD in General Medicine from the University of Allahabad. He is a life member of the Cardiological Society of India and the Association of Physicians of India, and a Fellow of the Indian Association of Medical Specialists. His research includes papers on rheumatic heart disease and a publication on catheter-related bloodstream infections in the Journal of Patient Safety and Infection Control. Honored with the “Best Physicians Award” by IMA’s South Delhi Branch, Dr. Dua is recognized for his clinical excellence and patient-centered care across Delhi and beyond.
