Dr. Hemant Madan

Dr. Hemant Madan is the Senior Director & Program Head (Delhi & NCR Region) for Adult Cardiology and Paediatric Cardiology at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram. He has more than 22 years of experience in cardiology and is highly regarded for managing both adult and paediatric heart diseases. Moreover, he has extensive expertise in complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, congenital heart disease, and advanced cardiac device implantation.

He completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. Later, he earned his DM in Cardiology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Trivandrum. Furthermore, he was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCPE), UK. As a result, he has developed advanced expertise in interventional cardiology and congenital heart interventions.

Dr. Madan specializes in complex coronary angioplasty, paediatric and congenital cardiac interventions, structural heart procedures, cardiac rhythm management, peripheral vascular interventions, and advanced echocardiography. In addition, he performs device implantation for various rhythm disorders, balloon valvotomy, and paediatric and fetal echocardiography with excellent clinical outcomes.

Before joining Narayana Health, Dr. Madan served as Senior Advisor in Cardiology at Army Hospital (Research & Referral) and later as Senior Advisor & Head of the Department of Cardiology at Navy Hospital, Mumbai. Besides his clinical work, he actively contributes to academic medicine and professional organizations. Therefore, he is recognized as one of the leading interventional cardiologists in Delhi NCR.
