His journey began with an M.B.B.S. from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, followed by an M.S. in General Surgery from G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur. He further honed his skills in transplant surgery in the United Kingdom, earning the prestigious Dr. P.N. Berry Trust Scholarship. Upon returning to India, Dr. Jauhari established successful renal transplant programs across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, significantly impacting the nation’s healthcare landscape.

Dr. Jauhari’s contributions extend beyond clinical excellence. He has played a pivotal role in shaping national policies on organ transplantation and patient safety as an advisor to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. His leadership in various expert committees has been instrumental in developing the National Organ Transplant Programme (NOTP) and the National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO).
