Dr. Gurpreet Makkar

Dr. Gurpreet Makkar is a highly experienced radiologist with over 20 years of expertise in multimodality imaging, including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and conventional radiology. She is currently the Head of Imaging and Chief of the DNB Program at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon. She completed her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, followed by a DMRD and DNB in Radiology. Over the years, she has worked in prestigious institutions such as Max Hospital Saket, Maulana Azad Medical College, BHU, and JIPMER Pondicherry, where she gained extensive experience in cardiovascular, gynecological, obstetric, pediatric, and abdominal imaging.

Dr. Makkar has a keen interest in advanced diagnostic imaging and is actively involved in mentoring DNB radiology residents, setting up radiology protocols, and participating in clinico-radiological and oncology disease management forums. She has numerous national and international publications and has presented at various medical conferences. She is a member of the Indian Association of Radiological Imaging, the Indian Association of Cardiac Imaging, and the Society of Fetal Imaging. Recognized for her academic excellence, she received a Gold Medal in her postgraduate radiology program. She specializes in USG & CT-guided procedures and continues to contribute significantly to the field of radiology.
