Dr. Digvijay Singh

Dr. Digvijay Singh, Senior Consultant at Fortis Gurgaon, is a highly experienced ophthalmologist with 18 years of expertise in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus (squint), neuro-ophthalmology, and glaucoma. He trained at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he spent over a decade mastering clinical and surgical techniques. After serving as a consultant at Medanta-The Medicity for 3.5 years, he founded Noble Eye Care, a chain of specialized centers across Delhi-NCR. He currently heads the ophthalmology department at Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Gurgaon, and is also a visiting consultant at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Delhi.

Dr. Singh has performed a wide range of surgeries including pediatric cataracts, advanced squint corrections, glaucoma procedures, optic nerve sheath fenestration, and more. He is known for adopting the latest diagnostic and surgical tools, such as state-of-the-art glaucoma screening systems. His special interest in neuro-ophthalmology has helped thousands of patients with complex visual and nerve-related conditions. He has also contributed over 80 scientific papers, book chapters, and publications, and regularly presents at leading national and international ophthalmology conferences.

An MBBS gold medalist from AIIMS, he completed MD in Ophthalmology, FAICO in Pediatric Ophthalmology and various subspecialty fellowships. Dr. Singh has held several important academic and administrative roles including Vice President of the Young Ophthalmologists Society of India and Treasurer of the Indian Neuro-Ophthalmological Society. He is actively involved in community outreach, conducting diabetic retinopathy screenings and rural eye health programs, earning recognition for his commitment to accessible and ethical eye care.
