Dr. Deepak Thakur

Dr. Deepak Thakur is the Principal Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurgaon. He has over 10 years of experience in diagnosing and treating congenital and acquired heart diseases in newborns, infants, children, and adults with congenital heart conditions.

He completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University, Bengaluru. Later, he earned his DNB in Paediatrics from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Moreover, he completed his FNB in Paediatric Cardiology at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. As a result, he has developed advanced expertise in paediatric and congenital cardiac care.

Dr. Thakur specializes in advanced cardiac imaging and diagnostic procedures. His expertise includes 2D and 3D Echocardiography, Fetal Echocardiography, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE). In addition, he performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization for congenital heart diseases. He is also experienced in paediatric cardiac emergency care and post-operative cardiac critical care in CTVS ICU settings.

Furthermore, Dr. Thakur has worked at leading healthcare institutions, including Paras Hospital Gurgaon, Artemis Hospital Gurgaon, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, and Apollo Hospital, Chennai. Besides his clinical practice, he actively contributes to academics through publications, book chapters, teaching, and scientific presentations.
