Dr. Debashish Chaudhary

Dr. Debashish Chaudhary is the Senior Consultant and Clinical Lead in Surgical Oncology at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram. He has more than 16 years of experience in Surgical Oncology, with special expertise in breast oncology, thoracic oncology, gastrointestinal cancers, and minimally invasive cancer surgery. Moreover, he is highly skilled in robotic surgery, laparoscopic oncology, VATS, and HIPEC procedures.

He completed his MBBS from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Later, he earned his MS in General Surgery from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Medical University, Lucknow, followed by an MCh in Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital under Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai. As a result, he developed advanced expertise in managing complex cancers through evidence-based surgical techniques.

Before joining Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram, Dr. Chaudhary led the Department of Surgical Oncology at the Punjab unit of Tata Memorial Centre for seven years. During this period, he played a key role in expanding oncology services while maintaining a strong patient-centred approach. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in breast cancer surgery, thoracic oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, genitourinary oncology, gynaecologic oncology, soft tissue tumours, and cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC.

Besides his clinical practice, Dr. Chaudhary actively contributes to oncology research and academics. He has authored several scientific publications on breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, and surgical oncology. Therefore, he is widely respected for his surgical expertise, academic contributions, and commitment to delivering comprehensive cancer care.
