Moreover, he has successfully performed over 5,000 heart surgeries, including more than 36 heart transplants and several complex cardiac procedures.
In addition, Dr. Sameer Kumar is widely recognized for establishing two successful heart transplant programs in Delhi and Pune. Therefore, he received the prestigious Sena Medal (Distinguished) in 2023.
