Dr. Biswajyoti Hazarika with over 20 years of dedicated experience in head and neck surgery, Dr. Biswajyoti Hazarika specializes in treating tumors and cancers affecting the head and neck region, including the thyroid, parathyroid glands, larynx, pharynx, salivary glands, oral cavity, and para-nasal sinuses. His expertise encompasses both traditional surgical techniques and advanced methods such as endoscopic surgery and plastic reconstruction of resected areas. Recently, he has incorporated robotic surgery into his practice, enhancing precision and patient outcomes.
Dr. Hazarika completed his residency at Dr. B. Barooah Cancer Centre in Guwahati and obtained his fellowship in head and neck surgery from the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in Bangalore. His tenure at Prince Aly Khan Hospital in Mumbai further enriched his understanding of head and neck oncology. In 2009, he began his consultancy at Max Super Specialty Hospital in New Delhi, where he became the head of the head and neck surgery department until 2016.
Beyond surgical interventions, Dr. Hazarika is deeply committed to the functional rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients.
