Dr. Bela Makhija

Dr. Bela Makhija is a highly distinguished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 43 years of extensive experience. She currently serves as the Principal Director of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Head of Unit at Max Hospital, Saket. Her academic journey began with an MBBS from the University of Pune in 1977. After that, she earned her DGO in 1981 and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 1983. Gynae Endoscopy Training at BEAMS was also completed by her. Saket City Hospital has been her workplace since April 2014. Prior to this, she worked at Batra Hospital for over 28 years. Therefore, her training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, she has overall 35 years of experience in the field. Medical Officer in the Indian Air Force for 5 years was another role she held.
