Dr. Bappaditya Har is a Senior Consultant in Liver Transplantation, Hepatobiliary Surgery, and Gastrointestinal Oncology at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram. He has over 15 years of experience in treating complex liver, pancreas, biliary, and gastrointestinal diseases. Moreover, he has strong expertise in liver transplantation, HPB surgery, and gastrointestinal cancer surgery.
He completed his MBBS from NRS Medical College, Kolkata. After that, he earned his MS in General Surgery from IPGMER & SSKM Hospital, Kolkata. Later, he completed his MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology from SGPGIMS, Lucknow. He also completed his DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examinations, Delhi. Furthermore, he pursued a Fellowship in HPB and Liver Transplantation at the Centre for Liver and Biliary Sciences (CLBS), Max Hospital. As a result, he developed advanced expertise in liver transplantation and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery.
Dr. Har specializes in living donor and deceased donor liver transplantation. In addition, he performs combined liver and kidney transplantation, minimally invasive HPB surgery, laparoscopic and robotic donor hepatectomy, and complex cancer surgeries involving the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. He also has extensive experience in managing gallbladder cancer, bile duct cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic disorders, and gastrointestinal malignancies through multidisciplinary care.
