About Dr. Atma Ram Bansal
Dr. Atma Ram Bansal is Director of Neurology at Medanta, Gurugram. He is a highly experienced neurologist and epilepsy specialist with more than 20 years of clinical expertise. Moreover, he is known for advanced treatment of epilepsy and other neurological disorders. He completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut. Later, he earned DM in Neurology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum. In addition, he completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Epilepsy from the same institute.
Dr. Bansal has special expertise in complex epilepsy cases, uncontrolled seizures, epilepsy surgery workup, EEG interpretation, and long-term video EEG monitoring. Furthermore, he has treated more than 6,000 epilepsy patients and performed over 100 epilepsy surgeries. He currently leads the comprehensive epilepsy care program at Medanta Institute of Neurosciences. Therefore, he has developed advanced epilepsy protocols to provide quality patient care. He has also published more than 50 national and international papers and authored two books on epilepsy.
