Dr. Ashok Dutta

Dr. Ashok Dutta is a highly accomplished pediatrician with over 45 years of experience in child healthcare. He has served in several prestigious institutions throughout his career, contributing significantly to pediatric education and research. He began as a Senior Resident at Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, New Delhi, where he gained hands-on experience in pediatric medicine. Later, he worked as a Lecturer at JN Medical College, Aligarh, before moving on to Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. Over 32 years, he held various positions, including Assistant Professor, Professor, and Director Professor, ultimately becoming the Head of the Department of Pediatrics. Following his tenure at Lady Hardinge, he served as Professor and Head of Pediatrics at Sharda University Medical College for five years.

Additionally, he was a Visiting Professor at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for two years. His expertise lies in pediatric infectious diseases, vaccinology, and preventive child healthcare. A member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and the National Neonatology Forum of India, Dr. Dutta has published over 170 research papers in national and international journals.
