Dr. Anurag Krishna

Dr. Anurag Krishna is a highly distinguished Paediatric Surgeon with over 40 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the Chairman of Paediatrics & Paediatric Surgery at Max Hospital, Saket. He completed his MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and MCh in Paediatric Surgery from AIIMS, New Delhi. A British Government Technical Cooperation Training Programme Fellowship at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, UK, was also undertaken by him. He was the first Clinical Director when Max initiated the Clinical Directorate in 2012. Clinical Governance and Critical Care services were also set up with his help. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Krishna heads the Pediatric Services across all hospitals of Max Healthcare. He has over 30 years of experience. Director of Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery at Max Healthcare Institute since January 2009 is a role he has held. Chairman of the Department of Paediatric Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Faculty at UCMS, Delhi, are also positions he has held. He specializes in Paediatric Laparoscopy, Paediatric Urology, Surgery in the Newborn, and Endoscopic Procedures. He is a Fellow of NAMS and a member of BAPS and IAPS.
