Dr. Ankit Jain

Dr. Ankit Jain Cardiologist is an accomplished cardiology with over 13 years of experience in cardiology, specializing in electrophysiology and cardiac pacing. He currently serves as Additional Director of Cardiology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. Dr. Jain completed his DM in Cardiology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, and further pursued a specialized fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan, under the guidance of Professor Shih-Ann Chen, a global authority in arrhythmia management.

Throughout his career, Dr. Jain has performed over 2,500 electrophysiology studies and radiofrequency ablations (RFA), along with numerous pacemaker and ICD implantations. His core areas of expertise include treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and genetic rhythm disorders. He has also successfully conducted more than 2,000 coronary interventions including high-risk angioplasties and congenital heart defect closures. Prior to joining Fortis, he was a faculty member at Safdarjung Hospital, where he played a vital role in expanding the electrophysiology services and mentoring DM Cardiology students.

His contributions extend to clinical research and academic training, and he holds FSCAI (Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, USA).
