Doctor Vinod Raina

With more than 40 years of experience in the field of medical oncology, Dr. Vinod Raina is one of India’s top oncologists. Dr. Raina, a renowned expert and powerhouse of information, served as Professor and Head of Medical Oncology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi (AIIMS). His areas of specialization include Lymphomas, Myelomas, Breast, Lung, Gastrointestinal, Urological, and Gynecological malignancies. Additionally, he has personally carried out about 400 bone marrow/stem cell transplants for different malignancies. He also has a wealth of scientific expertise and spent 24 years at AIIMS as the principal investigator on about 50 projects. He was also a founding member of the INDOX network. He taught around 70 residents and DM students at AIIMS, and today they hold prominent positions both domestically and abroad. In 2013 as Director and Head of Medical Oncology and Haematology, Dr. Vinod Raina joined FMRI. He received promotions in 2017 to Executive Director and in January 2020 to Chairperson of Oncosciences – Fortis Healthcare.
