  • Atlantoaxial dislocations and fractures are examples of CVJ anomalies.
  • Cementing of spinal fractures (Kyphoplasty and Vertebroplasty).
  • Endoscopic spine surgery (for malignancies and slipped discs).
  • Correction of spinal deformities (Kyphosis and Scoliosis)
  • Keyhole tumor excision and spinal tumors.
  • replacement of the discs (artificial disc placements).
  • Discitis with spinal tuberculosis.

Procedure

  •  Minimally Invasive (Keyhole) Spine Surgery: In patients with severe low back pain and sciatica/difficulty walking long distances, the procedure involves using just 1-1.5 inch long skin incisions to relieve pressure from upon the spinal nerves and stabilise the spine using state-of-the-art Minimal Access equipment. Compared to more traditional spine surgeries, this cutting-edge method significantly reduces recovery time, post-operation pain, and discomfort. One of the few spine surgeons in the US that performs these surgeries is Dr. Rajan.
  •  Deformity Correction (Kyphosis/Scoliosis): Numerous patients may experience aberrant spine curvature for a variety of reasons. In the majority of cases, they are remedied by newer techniques that significantly improve the safety and accuracy of the operation by using intraoperative neuro-monitoring and neuro-navigation using an O-arm.
  • Cement Stabilization for Spinal Fractures: The brittleness of the bones makes the elderly population susceptible to spontaneous fractures of the spine. Dr. Rajan uses cutting-edge methods that allow for nearly immediate fracture repair and pain alleviation with only a 5mm access incision.
  • Micro-Endoscopic Disc Surgery: Using specialized, patented access ports that enable many of these procedures to be performed as day-care procedures under local anesthesia, newly slipped discs that do not improve with medication are addressed.
  •  Spinal Fixation and Fusion: Every single spine treatment that Dr. Rajan does makes use of Robotic O-Arm Neuro-Navigation. This exclusive and one-of-a-kind tool automatically guides in the precise and safe execution of each crucial step in spine surgery, such as the placement of screws or cages, greatly reducing any potential errors.
