About the doctor
- Dr. Sarup brings his 24 years of expertise in orthopaedic surgery to our institution. He received his training at world-class institutions in India, including the KEM and Nair Hospitals in Mumbai and PGIMER Chandigarh. His training was performed in large part in the United Kingdom, where he earned his FRCS & MCh Ortho credentials.
Dr. Sarup is a superspecialist in spine surgery and paediatric orthopaedics. In 1998, he received a fellowship in the aforementioned topic from the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow.
The first certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon to open a practice in Delhi was Dr. Sarup. In 2004, he established the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital’s Paediatric Orthopaedic Unit. In 2009, while leading this specialty at Medanta Medicity, he created the paediatric orthopaedic and spine division. He is particularly interested in treating scoliosis, clubfoot, and congenital hip dislocations.
