About the doctor
- Eye surgeon Dr. Sameer Kaushal graduated from the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi.
He spent a few years in the institute’s Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery Unit after earning his undergraduate and graduate degrees and completing his postgraduate residency there, where he gained experience treating eye diseases, particularly those affecting the cornea. In particular, he got great experience performing anterior segment operations, such as phaco surgery for cataracts, LASIK, and corneal transplants. His knowledge encompasses the most recent therapeutic techniques, such as sutureless corneal transplants and synthetic corneas.
He has also engaged in a variety of teaching and research activities, and he has had numerous research papers published in various publications throughout the world. He has led the way in developing novel procedures, such as minimally invasive therapies and new surgical techniques. Additionally, he has co-authored works on Lasik surgery, corneal diseases, and corneal transplantation.
