He is a distinguished member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS); its founder and current chair is Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Saheb. He graduated from IIM Calcutta and completed a one-year “Leadership & Management Executive Programme” that was given to him in 2016. The Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) has given him the designation of FMAS (Fellow Minimal Access Surgery). Additionally, in recognition of his contributions to the field of general surgery, he received an FAIS (Fellow Association of Surgeons of India) award.
    At the esteemed Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education (EISE), New Delhi, he serves as a trainer and faculty member. Additionally, he has taught Solid Organ Laparoscopic Surgery to numerous surgeons. He participates actively in the training and instruction of DNB Postgraduate General Surgery students who are selected by the National Board as teaching faculty at Artemis Hospitals. As a result of his tireless efforts, the National Board has also given the department he is in charge of permission to begin the Super speciality teaching program of FNB (Minimum Access Surgery) in 2018. The Fellowship of Indian Associations of Gastro-Endoscopic Surgeons (FIAGES) employs him as faculty.

    He actively participates and is a member of the committees for renal transplantation and infection control. He has been an integral element of the Operation Theatre Committee and actively participates in developing strategies to ensure the smooth operation of Operation theatres in order to maximize productivity. His management abilities and direction have helped to improve/minimize the time lost during OT turnaround time and streamline the operating theatre. He is authorized to practice medicine (general surgery and minimal access surgery) by registration with the Gujarat Medical Council and Delhi Medical Council. He participates actively in Delhi Medical Association. Along with that, he holds lifetime memberships in the esteemed ASI (Association of Surgeons of India), OSSI (Obesity Surgeons Society of India), IAGES (Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons), and AMASI (Association of Min Access Surgeons of India).
