- With more than 25 years of expertise, Dr. Neelam Mohan is a well-known pediatric gastroenterology and hepatologist in India. In India, Dr. Neelam Mohan is credited with multiple firsts in the field of pediatric liver transplantation. Additionally, she is recognized for a few juvenile liver transplantation world firsts. She introduced therapeutic endoscopy in newborns and young children for the first time in India. She has produced more than 50 book chapters and over 250 publications, of which more than 100 are foreign. More than 200 of the more than 900 forums she has spoken at on a global scale. Said on invitation at conferences throughout the world in the majority of them, including the USA, Europe, UK, Canada, Japan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and other Asia Pacific nations. On pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition, she is the author of numerous international and national guidelines. The National Health Authority of India (Aayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri – Jan Aarogya Yojna) consults Dr. Neelam. She serves as co-chair of the Government of India’s ICMR initiative known as STW (Standard Treatment Workflow) for Pediatrics. She also serves as a National Board of Examinations advisor. Aside from the B.C. Roy Award, she has also received the Dr. Sadhana International Empowerment of Women Award, the Swastha Bharat Samman from Zee Health, the Vashisht Chikitsa Ratan Award from the Hon. Lt.
