Dr. Neelam Mohan is a renowned pediatric gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over 25 years of experience in her field. She is a pioneer in pediatric liver transplantation in India, credited with several groundbreaking firsts in the field, including the launch of India’s first pediatric liver transplant program and the introduction of therapeutic endoscopy for newborns and young children. Her exceptional contributions to medicine have earned her the prestigious B.C. Roy National Award in 2016, presented by the President of India.
Dr. Mohan’s extensive expertise is highlighted by her over 250 publications, with more than 100 being international, and authorship of more than 50 book chapters. She has been invited to speak at over 900 forums worldwide, including in the USA, Europe, the UK, Canada, Japan, and other Asia Pacific countries. Dr. Mohan is also a key advisor to the National Health Authority of India (Aayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri – Jan Aarogya Yojna) and co-chairs the Standard Treatment Workflow (STW) initiative for pediatrics under the Government of India.
