Doctor Manoj Padman

Dr. Padman earned his medical degree from Pondicherry’s esteemed Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER). He also holds a diploma from the National Board of Orthopedic Surgery Examinations. He spent ten years working in the UK in various orthopedic departments at Leeds and Sheffield universities hospitals. In 2008, he passed the intercollegiate test for trauma and orthopedics (FRCS Tr & Orth) and earned his fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow during this time. He conducted fundamental research on the biological response to older and newer polyethylene used in arthroplasty as part of his orthopedic training in the UK and was given a Masters in Research from the University of Leeds in 2004. After being named a National Fellow in Paediatric Orthopedics, he completed his fellowship at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. He was exposed to the full spectrum and breadth of the numerous pediatric orthopedic disciplines during the duration of his fellowship. Before departing for India in June 2009, he served as Consultant – Pediatric Orthopedics at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Dr. Padman has 20 years of extensive experience in the field of orthopedic surgery, and he has worked for prestigious institutions such as Sheffield Children’s Hospital in the UK, Max Healthcare in New Delhi, and Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurgaon as a senior consultant in pediatric orthopedics.
