He previously served as the Head and Professor at the Department of Medical Oncology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. His expertise lies in blood stem cell and bone marrow transplantation, haematological cancers such as multiple myeloma and chronic myeloid leukemia, and gynecological cancers, including ovarian and cervical cancers.
