The head of ENT and head-neck surgery at Medanta is Dr. K.K. Handa. In this field, he has more than 32 years of experience. Since the beginning of Medanta in 2009, he has been in charge of the Department of ENT and head and neck surgery. Prior to that, he spent 13 years teaching at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi as an Associate Professor in the Department of ENT. He also served as the Senior Resident at PGIMER Chandigarh. He served as the founding secretary and past president of the Association of Phono-Surgeons of India. He is one of the top laser and voice surgeons in the nation. Laryngology, voice surgery, laser surgery, cochlear implants, endoscopic sinus surgery, microscopic ear surgery, and head and neck surgery are among the fields in which he specializes. In 2004, he received a Commonwealth teacher’s fellowship from Glasgow Royal Infirmary in the United Kingdom for training in lasers.
