About the doctor
- 2008 saw Dr. Gaurav Dixit graduate from PGIMS Rohtak with his MBBS and MD in general medicine. He joined the department of Clinical Hematology at AIIMS Delhi in 2011 after finishing his senior residency in general medicine, and it was there that he developed an interest in the research and care of blood disorders. He attended CMC Vellore in 2012 to pursue his DM degree; it boasts one of the top hematology departments in the nation.
Before retiring in 2015, he spent three years working in this busy transplant hospital. After working for four years at Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, and Action Cancer Hospital, he joins Artemis Hospital. In both facilities, he played a key role in establishing a bone marrow transplant program.
He received a professional certificate in multiple myeloma from the Mayo Clinic in the United States in 2020.He has excellent clinical judgment and scientific understanding. He is knowledgeable about the most recent advancements in the hematology field and always treats his patients in accordance with established international standards. He occupies a unique position in the area because of his remarkable knowledge of hemato-oncology.
Wherever he has worked, his ability to teach has been a benefit to the department. Leukemia, myeloma, lymphoma, and aplastic anemia are some of his areas of expertise. Dr. Gaurav is constantly eager to participate, learn, and assist as a member of numerous organizations, both domestically and internationally.
