About The Doctor
- After earning his doctorate, Dr. Attique Vasdev worked as a senior resident at Holy Family Hospital before moving on to Govt Medical College Chandigarh. After that, he relocated to Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, where he served as an assistant professor in the department of orthopedics from 1992 to 2002 before becoming an orthopaedic consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Since the hospital’s opening in 2009, he has held the position of Director Knee Unit. He completed a fellowship in joint replacement in Germany and an Israeli fellowship in developing and organizing trauma systems. His areas of expertise include ligament restoration around the knee, sports injuries, and knee replacement. Numerous international and national papers are to his credit. Additionally, he has written chapters for numerous books on joint replacements and sports injuries.
