Doctor Atma Ram Bansal

Epilepsy specialist Dr. Atma Ram Bansal received his training at Trivandrum’s renowned Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology (SCTIMST), the world’s leading epilepsy facility. He received specialized training in difficult epilepsies, surgical treatment for uncontrolled epilepsy, advance reporting of electroencephalography (EEG), and long-term video-EEG monitoring during his epilepsy fellowship. With more than 6000 patients under his care, he has been leading Medanta’s comprehensive epilepsy care program for the past more than 12 years. Two books on epilepsy have been written by Dr. Atma Ram Bansal, who has more than 50 national and international publications to his credit. He created and implemented an epilepsy protocol at the Medanta Institute of Neurosciences and is passionate about offering patients with epilepsy high-quality care. He wants to create a comprehensive support system for people with epilepsy.
