- Dr. Arvind Khurana has more than 34 years of extensive experience in the various fields of gastroenterology. Over 1,50,000 endoscopic treatments, including over 20,000 cases of EPT/CBD stone removal and biliary stenting, 2000 metallic stenting, 950 cases of foreign body removal, 2000 PEG implantation, 900 cases of PTBD, pediatric and neonatal endoscopy, have been successfully completed by him. Every month, Dr. Khurana typically conducts over 75 pancreaticobiliary surgeries. Dr. Khurana received his M.D. in medicine from Delhi University and completed his D.M. in gastroenterology at DU’s G.B. Pant Hospital in 1991. He is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Physicians in Ireland (F.R.C.P. ). Dr. Arvind Khurana, who is well-known for his research, has presented a number of publications, including Foreign Bodies of the Upper GI Tract and Vagal Nerve Dysfunction in Patients with Corrosive Esophageal Strictures. a CT evaluation of 161 cases and Caroli’s disease experience. He actively participates in planning conferences as well. For six years, he coordinated the yearly JGCON gastro vision, RGCON gastro vision, and Fortiscon gastro vision.
