About Dr. Arun Garg
Dr. Arun Garg is an experienced neurologist specializing in brain and nervous system disorders. He completed his MBBS, MD, and DM in Neurology from Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur. Moreover, he has worked at leading hospitals across India. Currently, he has been associated with Medanta – The Medicity as Director of Neurology. Earlier, he also served as Senior Neurologist at Max Hospital, Delhi. Therefore, his clinical experience is both extensive and diverse.
Importantly, he developed advanced stroke care systems in North India. He introduced a structured “brain rescue” program for rapid stroke treatment. In addition, he created a three-tier stroke network connecting primary centres to Medanta. As a result, patients receive timely and effective care. Furthermore, he pioneered thrombolysis in acute stroke management in this region. His collaboration with the University of Massachusetts (UMass), USA also strengthened research and treatment protocols.
Additionally, he focuses on post-stroke neuro-rehabilitation using a multidisciplinary approach. Moreover, he actively contributes to teaching and training programs. He also organizes the EAST program for stroke management. Hence, patients benefit from advanced care and continuous innovation.
