Throughout his career, he has held significant roles in top institutions such as AIIMS, Safdarjung Hospital, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, and Sitaram Bhartia Institute. His leadership as the past President of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (IAGES) has contributed to the growth and standardization of laparoscopic surgery in India.
