Brief about the Hospital
In 1994, the Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital was founded as a cancer treatment facility. The NABH and NABL accredited India’s first cancer hospital in 2008 and 2010 respectively. For creating integrated quality and environmental management systems that complied with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 requirements, the first cancer hospital in India received accreditation from TUV-NORD, Germany, in 2002. The hospital received certification for the Diplomate National Board (DNB) Program in medical and surgical oncology from the National Board of Examination (NBE) in 2001 and 2004. However, it is the eleventh clinic in the world to perform a haploidentical bone marrow transplant on an adult patient with sickle cell disease.
